3. 1/9/11 Three Sisters by James D Doss

This was my first Doss read and might be my last. I had a really hard time with the flow of the words or the words he used or the way he put them together – not sure what it was exactly. I’m a bit of a stickler for finishing the books I start, so I powered through and actually did enjoy the story quite a bit with all its twists and turns. The story begins with a murder of a woman while she is on the phone with her husband. She is mauled – by a bear or something else? She has two sisters and a husband with secrets. Charlie Moon is asked to help investigate. Charlie’s Aunt Daisy, a Ute Shaman, also assists with the investigation.
