As a child, Jane witnesses her parents murder, yet for some reason she is spared. She grows up and joins the British Intelligence as an MI-5 counter-assassin. When her lover, another operative, is killed, she goes on a hiatus and takes up writing mystery novels. She decides she is getting out of the game so when her publicist invites her to a conference in Atlanta, she decides that going to the US is just the break she needs. While there she sees a photo in the newspaper of the man who killed her lover – living right there in Georgia! She heads to Savannah to track him down…and there the adventure begins!
My first TAN read — pretty riveting at the end, and a great story through-out!
