Affirmations are statements that create your beliefs about yourself. They can either be positive empower you and lift you up or they can be negative and drag you down. Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between positive or negative or truth or fiction, it simply believes what you tell it.
Let’s focus on Positive Affirmations. They can be declarations of who you are as well as what you want to see come to fruition in your life.
Affirmations work best when they are in the form of an “I AM…” statement, in the positive, and as if what you want has already happened.

I started using Affirmations 30 years ago when I went off to college. I began creating words, sayings, and drawings that I would tack up on what became known as “The Wall”. The Wall grew over the years and eventually covered a whole wall in my bedroom at the Babe Pad.
There are many ways to do a daily Affirmations ritual.
You could say your affirmations in front of the mirror while looking at yourself.
You could record your affirmations and listen to the audio recording.
You could write your affirmations.
I prefer writing mine. The Affirmation goes from my brain to my hand (kinesthetic – physical), and my eye sees my hand writing it (visual), while my brain also reads the words (cognition – knowing). I also tune in for a split second to feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel what that Affirmation feels like or would feel like to bring in the emotion. The only thing missing is hearing. I will start saying the Affirmation out loud while writing it – that will take care of the hearing factor.
I’ve been participating in a Money Manifesting group. I am almost halfway through the second month. It is a beta program with daily prompts and exercises. It does include daily affirmations.
I have been writing a notebook page of affirmations each day (25 lines, one affirmation on each line). What I have found is that I look forward to writing my affirmations. I seem to know what statements are most needed that day. Sometimes I tweak them a bit.
I noticed that I’m including affirmations in other areas of my life, not just money or abundance. I’m noticing energy shifts and a feeling of looking forward to when that Affirmation comes true. I expect and know it will. There is an inner knowing because some of the affirmations HAVE already come true! Roar!
Affirmations are a great tool to get you in the headspace, heart space and also energetic space of creating what you want in your life. Are you already doing some sort of Affirmation ritual? If not, is it something you will try?
